The Trouw Book is here!

First book launch at the Art Bazaar

The Trouw Book is here!

09-12-2014 | 17.33

The last couple of months, we've been working hard on The Trouw Book. Before our speakers thump out their last beat on January 3rd, we would like to share our memories and experiences with you through an extraordinary book and limited edition box set that comprehensively represents the life of our nightclub, restaurant and art space. The book will be available for the very first time at the Art Bazaar on December 11

The Trouw Book contains a host of exclusive pictures, personal anecdotes and interviews from the various DJ's, crew-members and founders that made up Trouw. It includes exchanges with all the Innervisions artists and interviews with our residents like Tom Trago and Job Jobse, while a cacophony of international voices, including Gerd Janson and Optimo, have penned some thoughts for this book. Our founder and creative director Olaf Boswijk will bid you farewell with an endearing letter and a thorough history of the venue is incorporated through conversations with the architects and designers, featuring stories dating back to Trouw’s many predecessors, including 11.

The Trouw Book is a unique insight behind the scenes and a look at the people who helped make it happen. The book explores the ideas and vision that established Trouw as an interdisciplinary space, linking food, architecture, community and conceptual art into one.

You can buy The Trouw Book starting on December 11 for €24,99 right here in Trouw, The American Book Centre, Rush Hour, Concerto, Athenaeum, Hutspot, Mary Go Wild, Lloyd Hotel, EYE, Innervisions and online in our webstore on www.trouwamsterdam.nl.

We'll host a Trouw Book Launch at Mary Go Wild on December 16th between 18.00 and 21.00, where Nuno dos Santos and Patrice Bäumel will not only play a DJ-set, but also sign our copy of the book.

Trouw owners Olaf Boswijk and Daan Steures will be signing books at The American Book Centre on Saturday December 20 between 15.00 and 17.00.

We hope to see you on one of these dates!
