A part of vintage London in Amsterdam

A part of vintage London in Amsterdam

Twiggy, Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot: three major vintage icons who will always remain a source of inspiration for many designers. The vintage look is and will probably be a trend that’ll never disappear.

Vintage: a concept popular all around the globe. While you’re trying to score the best items in-between disco pants, waist skirts and oversized sweaters, you’ll probably smell a vague dusty fragrance. I call that ‘nostalgia’ and not bad at all. Nowadays a lot of people go out and browse the piles of vintage clothing just for fun.

Whenever I think of vintage, I think of London: a vintage lover’s heaven. There you’ll find the most amazing items in the tiniest stores and cozy marketplaces. A perfect location to shop in all aspects, but going over there just to do some shopping can be a bit much…

I’ve got good news for you: a piece of vintage London is coming to Trouw this weekend. The London based company Glass Onion started working together with the C4C Vintage Kilo Sale. Trouw will be transformed into a vintage candy store with over 10 tons of vintage clothing and accessoires. Chanel, Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton are just some of brands you’ll find at this event and all for a very affordable prize. One kilo of clothing (between 4 and 6 pieces) will only cost you €15. The best way you score your cheap vintage London summer outfit and you don’t even have go abroad.
