For the third edition of the Night Bazaar, we've decided to make a brand new and unique Trouw item. After the T-shirt and the Trouw Moleskine booklet, we had Louis Reith design a new linen Trouw bag for the 26th of April.
The summer is in sight. For months on end we've been thinking about the days where we can relax in the park, drink wine on the terraces and dance at the summer festivals. The linen bags of Trouw went everywhere with us and were home to tapenade, towel and sunglasses. We thought it was time to make a new Trouw bag and this one is slightly bigger. Perfect for transporting your grocery shoppings, beach items and vinyl records. The eye-catching design is made by Louis Reith. Louis will also be present at the Night Bazaar with an exhibition of his work.
Louis Reith is an artists and graphic designer from Amsterdam. With communication as primary aim in his graphic work, Reith seeks tranquility in his drawings, collages and sculptures. By (typo)graphic forms on old book pages and the use of maps, engravings and photography, Reith creates a world of mountain landscapes and abstract works. He is also founder and owner of the independent publishing house Jordskred, which focus is on publishing artist books, prints, and music. We're a big fan of Louis because everything he makes looks sublime.
Do you want to own one of these Trouw bags? Then come to the Night Bazaar on April the 26th to get your copy for just 5 euro's. Don't be late, because these little pieces of art are limited editions!
