Mayor Van der Laan behind the decks to celebrate 24-hour permit

Mayor Van der Laan behind the decks to celebrate 24-hour permit

16-01-2013 | 17.18

On Saturday, we’ll officially be celebrating that fact that we are the first in Amsterdam to receive a 24-hour permit. The mayor of Amsterdam, Eberhard van der Laan, will be celebrating this occasion with us. He’ll put on the first record in Trouw on Saturday the 19th of January for this joyous milestone in our club's existence. Some heavy speculation is already going on to which track he will play…
Previous to this night, Olaf Boswijk and night mayor Mirik Milan will give a short speech. Important side note: we will not be opening our doors for 24 hours on January the 19th. We’ll just see how the evening transpires. As long as everybody is having fun, we’ll of course stay open. And a 24-hour session is in the making, no worries.

Mayor Eberhard van der Laan is very excited about Voyage Direct and probably choosing his definite record as we speak. The first record will be played around 23.00. Doors open at 22.00.
