The track of the month returns with our summerstop track. 128 Harps from Four Tet’ latest album ‘Pink’ was on repeat during the sunny days of August. 'Pink' was recently released on Kieran Hebden’ own label Text Records and is without a doubt his most club oriented album to date.
Four Tet has found new ways throughout the years of reinventing himself and has adapted musical influences from genres such as hiphop, R&B, jazz and folk. From his debut-album ‘Dialogue’ from 1999 to his deep-house/techno orientated album 'There Is Love In You’, Four Tet continues to innovate and has produced remixes for artists such as Aphex Twin, Bonobo, Radiohead, Nathan Fake and Matthew Dear.
128 Harps is a delightfully unpredictable tune and is characterized by heavy synths, sophisticated melodies and layered vocal snippets. So have a seat and enjoy those lovely breaks, snares and 128 experimental plucks of strings.
